Depression is a serious medical condition however many people in mainstream media consider it more of a person failing than an actual medical condition. In order to learn to how defend against this condition a person should learn what are the signs of depression are. The first symptom is a feeling of exhaustion and not having a desire to do anything. This is not the feeling to take a break and just rest for a day this feeling lasts for many days and no matter how much a person sleeps they will not feel any better. If a person does not have an interest in activities they use to enjoy this might be a sign of a serious condition developing. If a person has these symptoms they might want to seek out help. This is not a condition where a person should suffer in silence.
